Ich liebe Häuserquilts und nun habe ich auch eines kleines Quilttop genäht. Die Probeblöcke habe ich mit EQ5 entworfen und gezeichnet um verschiedene Blockaufteilungen der Häuser auszuprobieren und um mich dann für eines zu entscheidenLeider habe ich mich beim Zuschneiden auf die Maßangaben von EQ5 verlassen und ausnahmsweise mal nicht von Hand nachgerechnet. Und prompt passt es nicht, der Block ist oben breiter als unten. Im Nachhinein habe ich den Fehler gefunden, und beim nächsten Mal kontrolliere ich die Maßangaben ganz bestimmt!
Hier ein Foto des fertigen Häusertops, es ist ca.20 1/2" x 15" groß. Das, was etwas schief ist, wird beim Quilten ausgeglichen, das muss dann so sein.
I love small quilts with little houses and now I have sewn a quilttop for me. I drafted some different blocks with EQ5 and after the decision for one house, I adopted the measurement of EQ5. Normally I always check the measurement, but this time I didn't and so the ready blocks are on top a bit larger then at the bottom. Next time I'll check everything twice! But I'm sure, with a good quilting the finished Quilt will look fine. :-))
Auch mit dem Zähnchenquilt geht es langsam voran, die ersten Blöcke sind gequiltet.
The first blocks of the Sawtoothquilt are quilted, a slow progress, but it goes on.

Your little house quilt is very sweet! Your sawtooth quilt will take a while to quilt but it will be so worth it.
I love those little houses. Are you leaving it as it is or are you going to add on to it? Either way, it's going to be a beautiful quilt.

ich habs mir doch gedacht! In aller Stille arbeitest doch einen weiteren Miniquilt! Der ist wieder sehr schön geworden.
