Es gab genug Zeit ausgiebig miteinander zu schnacken und zu gucken, was jede gerade so am werkeln ist. Im September wollen wir uns wiedersehen, ich freue mich schon darauf!
Jede hatte etwas leckeres zu Essen mitgebracht und beim Show&Tell wurden tolle Werke gezeigt. Monika hat viele Fotos gemacht, auch die Aufnahme meines "Flying Fancy".
Last saturday we met with quilters from the Northwest of Germany. We communicate above an internet forum, this was our first meeting - but not our last. It was really exciting to become acquainted with some very nice quilter, which I only knew by their nicknames before.
Everybody brought something along for the buffet and a lot of quilts, bags and others for show&tell. Monika took fotos, this one of my "Flying Fancy", too.

Your "Flying Fancy" is beautiful, and so is your work. I, too, love antique quilts, reproduction fabrics, and lots and lots of piecing. I have been thinking of making this quilt ever since I saw the one in QNM - maybe it's time to start. Thank you for your inspriration and your beautiful photos.
